Scribers can be used to make fine lines on a wide variety of materials ranging from glass, ceramics,&nbsp; silicon, metals and plastics. They are also ideal for scribing silicon wafers prior to cleaving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Value-Tec CS1 carbide tipped scriber, 150mm<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Value-Tec CS1 carbide tipped scriber is intended for scribing and marking samples, sample mounts, embeddings and parts. Equally useful for scribing or marking for wafer cleaving. Sharp 45\u00b0 tungsten carbide tip on a 3.175mm (1\/8&#8243;) shaft. The tungsten carbide tip can scribe in steel, brass, aluminium, copper, plastics, etc. Can be used to scribe glass, but will wear quicker than diamond scribers. Pen type scriber with a body diameter of 7.5mm and a total length of 150mm.
