These sample holders are either rectangular or round and have brackets with screws to securely hold the sample in place.&nbsp; The bulk sample holders are a cost-effective and practical way to hold smaller to medium size samples. They are either made from vacuum grade aluminium or from gold plated brass (designated with a G for the EM-Tec Gold series). The set screws are made from stainless steel and provided with different lengths to cover a wide range of sample sizes. The EM-Tec bulk sample holders currently offered are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>EM-Tec GB16 \u2013 Rectangular type bulk sample holder with two side brackets for sample thickness up to 16mm.&nbsp; Made from brass, 1\u00b5m thick gold plated. Ideal for smaller samples and smaller SEMs.<\/li><li>EM-Tec B26 \u2013 Rectangular type bulk sample holder with two side bracket for sample thickness up to 26mm. Made from vacuum grade aluminium.<\/li><li>EM-Tec B38 \u2013 Rectangular type bulk sample holder with two side bracket for sample thickness up to 32mm. Made from vacuum grade aluminium.<\/li><li>EM-Tec B52 \u2013 Rectangular type medium bulk sample holder with two side bracket for sample thickness up to 52mm. Made from vacuum grade aluminium.<\/li><li>EM-Tec V80 \u2013 Rectangular type large bulk sample holders with two repositionable side brackets for sample width up to 80mm. Made from vacuum grade aluminium.<\/li><li>EM-Tec V120 \u2013Rectangular type extra-large bulk sample holders with two repositionable side brackets for sample width up to 120mm. Made from vacuum grade aluminium.<\/li><li>EM-Tec GR20 \u2013 Round type bulk sample holder with three brackets for round and awkwardly shaped samples up to \u00d820mm. Made from brass, 1\u00b5m thick gold plated. Ideal for smaller samples and smaller SEMs.<\/li><li>EM-Tec R32 \u2013&nbsp; Round type bulk sample holder with three brackets for round and awkwardly shaped samples up to \u00d832mm. Equally useful as metallographic mounts holder for 30mm \/ 1-1\/4\u201d mounts. Made from vacuum grade aluminium.<\/li><li>EM-Tec R51 \u2013&nbsp; Round type bulk sample holder with three brackets for round and awkwardly shaped samples up to \u00d851mm. Equally useful as metallographic mounts holder for 50mm \/ 2\u201d mounts. Made from vacuum grade aluminium<\/li><li>EM-Tec R98 \u2013 Universal large bulk sample holder with 4 mounting pillars on a \u00d8117mm pin plate. Mounting pillars can be spaced on the pin plate to accommodate large awkwardly shaped sample op to 98mm in diameter.
